Hi Everyone,
I just had to share this great moment with you!! My first manuscript is complete!! Wow, what a great feeling!! I am overjoyed!!
This process started in earnest in the beginning of November!! I had material written in different places, but the ingredients were all there!!
I am sooooooooooooooooooooo excited!! Mu manuscript (I like the sound of that, so I'll say it again, my manuscript has just been sent to the book designer. The book designer will design create the layout, font size, book cover etc.
I am smiling from ear to ear!!
Thank you for your support everyone!! My dream is becoming a REALITY!!! I must find away to celebrate tonight!!!

ReplyDeleteI learnt of ur blog via the hr forum. Congrats on your new book...I have goals of publishing two books as well... i have researched a few publishers but wanted to know if u can render any advice with regard to what route to take and cost etc?

ReplyDeleteWith regards to publishing, from my experience you can go 2 main ways, self publishing or finding a publishing company.
It is harder to find a publisher and self publishing has become alot more acceptable.
Re self publishing the majority of the proceeds will go to you, rather than the publisher.
If you go with a publisher and they believe it will be a great book, you can get an advance and potentially a deal for other books.
